Blogging As Remedy For Dissociative Collapse of Meaning

I almost can’t believe how bad it’s getting out there, except — I can

I haven’t kept up with writing (again)? There are Reasons.

What strikes me every day is the profound extent to which we suffer from a constant influx of meaningless, violent speech, alternating from the most deluded and most evil people.

The current moment of acutely increased bullshit receptivity will enter its “winter” phase at some point, but really this is “just” the long tail, the logical conclusion of neoliberal policy. We’re stuck in the train wreck already, and what seems to be accelerating are the claims to the contrary.

That could be the wrong metaphor, as new damages are occurring every day. To stick with it, though, it looks like it’s going to take a shouting match to finally assert that, yes, we need to clamber out of this godforsaken fuselage!
